Desk: Union Minister of Information and Broadcasting, Anurag Thakur has reinforced Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s call in his Mann Ki Baat address. The Minister has taken to Twitter and urged citizens from across the country to be a part of the biggest democratic festival & join the #MeraPehlaVoteDeshKeLiye campaign.

As the nation gears up for its biggest festival of democracy, this campaign translates to “My First Vote For the Country.” In the video, the Union Minister talks about how the country and its infrastructure that we see today have been built after the sacrifices and the united efforts of the countrymen. He also emphasizes how each citizen’s role is important in shaping the future of the nation and that it is a proud thing for any individual to be able to vote. He especially encouraged the youth to do so.
