The Ekusher Naree – একুশের নারী online buying-selling platform was created amidst utter discord in the year 2020 with an extremely rocky start, solely with the vision of broadcasting and supporting women entrepreneurs all over social media. After lot of efforts, they are finally able to organize 6th lifestyle & crafts exhibition cum sale on 27th, 28th and 29th of March, starting from 12:00 pm to 9:00 pm, at Purangan AC – Banquet Hall, near Dumdum Hanuman Temple.
Ekusher Naree’s objective of promoting modern feminism and equality for all genders has already been established by its repeated and successfully conducted exhibitions in previous years. Its goal and desire to celebrate the new era of feminism, with its extravagant and beautiful exhibitions, are prominent through their display of culturally significant items and exotic goods. It is usable for almost any kind of occasion. After all the two syllables “ekusher” and “Naree” is not just two random Bengali syllables joined together, but also the essence of a woman living in the 21st century, keeping her head high in all aspects. Starting from a wide variety of items, which include sarees, Kurtis, jewellery, panjabis, shirts, perfumes, sunglasses, Ayurvedic products, stylish imported bags, also with home decor items, homemade chocolates sweets, pickles, and a variety of delicious foods. As per our promise, this year Ekusher Naree is sponsoring again the traditional Chhau masks made by the artisans from Purulia. And just like this, Ekusher Naree not only promotes women entrepreneurs but also promotes the incredibly adept artisans of Purulia, providing their art with the recognition it deserves. This platform aims at creating a ‘safe space’ for women entrepreneurs who are starting or have already started their own online businesses, who are on their path to discovering their own identity and also by providing them with financial stability. Their products are broadcast all over Facebook and YouTube, creating the perfect environment for their businesses to flourish, not to mention even the buyers are getting their hands on the freshest and the most exotic goods available on the market.
