ABID Interiors 2020, the biggest exhibition on interiors in Eastern India opened doors to all with a grand inauguration on 17th January 2020 by His Excellency Sri Jagdeep Dhankhar, the Governor of West Bengal. With all the who’s who of the industry present during the inauguration, it was indeed a grand opening for the biggest interior exhibition in Eastern India.
“We have dreamt for the world and we open the doors to opportunity which you all may seize to make this world a better place” is what President Mr Ajit Kr. Jain has to say about this amazing exhibition which they have been organizing for several years consecutively.
ABID was formed to exchange ideas and information on the various facets of human habitat and ways of living. The aim was to provide a common platform, where professionals and those related to the trade, would interact to provide a variety of services to the public at large, by helping them to with ideas and information to enrich their lifestyle. The Association has been organizing highly successful Exhibitions, Seminars and Workshops on a regular basis.
“Kolkata has never seen an exhibition like this on interiors before. We have organized one of the largest and the grandest exhibitions on interiors and architects, where you will get to witness the recent trends in interiors which are taking the world by storm” says Sandeep Gupta, Treasurer.
According to Vice President Mukul Bothra, “Interiors 2020 is bigger and grander in every possible way and is a must visit for all who are interested in interior designing, architecture or buildings. Like every year, we are hosting the event in a hope to turn the world into an aesthetically better place.”
ABID has always had the aim to add green to our daily lives with sustainable architecture and technology, ensuring a better world to live in.
At the inauguration, Secretary Vijay Chokhany thanked all the eminent brands, who have been the co-sponsors for the grand exhibition. “This wouldn’t have been this amazing without the contribution of our team and the co-sponsors who has come forward for this exhibition.”
ABID Interiors 2020has more than 150 participants is sponsored by brands like Asian Paints, Hitachi, Saburi Plywood, Green Ply, Century Ply along with Dorset as the principal sponsor.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by the Chief Guest Shri Jagdeep Dhankhar, Governor of West Bengal with Guests of Honour Mr Amit Syngle (Asian Paints), Mr. Nandu Bilani (CREDAI), Mr. Pradeep Surekha (CREDAI), Mr. Sanjay Agarwal (Century Ply) and Mr. Ehsan Khan (VP of Institute of Architects Bangladesh).
The exhibition will also see the participation of multiple brands starting from furniture brands, customized arts, tiles, sanitary ware and the likes. This event is a wonderful opportunity to get updated about the most recent trends in interior designing and architecture. This is also an amazing platform for the various brands to showcase their products and services to a huge audience which visits the exhibition each year.
