A first-of-its-kind “School of Excellence” by East Bengal Club launched

East Bengal Club launched its the “School of Excellence” — a pioneering initiative in India to build world-class footballers. With international-standard infrastructure, academic support, skilled coaches, and mentorship programs, it aims to shape the complete athlete.

Inspired by La Masia and Ajax academies, this bold vision will scout and nurture talent from the grassroots across India. East Bengal is piloting the takeoff toward global football excellence and leads the way toward a new era in Indian football.

 On this special occasion, State Sports Minister Aroop Biswas, Education Minister Bratya Basu, Club President Murarilal Lohia, Secretary Rupak Saha, Cricket Secretary Sanjeev Acharya, Football Secretary Saikat Ganguly, and committee member Debabrata Sarkar were present along with Sourav Ganguly, and Jhulan Goswami. Former and current East Bengal footballers and cricketers were present too.
