‘Yaadein’ – a musical memoir released
Son of a prolific musician,Chiradip Sarkar had his inception into the world of music through the ‘Taalim’ in Tabla by his father and first mentor Late Pandit Chandi Das Sarkar at a budding age as a toddler. The musical journey that began by following his father’s footsteps was eventually destined in the waking of an established santoor player, was guided, navigated and steered through every obstacle by the pole star of his walk into fame, the santoor legend Pandit Tarun Bhattacharyya. Inspired by the creations of his guru, musical genius Pandit Tarun Bhattacharyya, Chiradip held a cherished dream to venture into the avenues of music direction, composition and music arrangements to give birth of a lyrical piece of his own.
After performing in several countries as a santoor player and listening to an ocean of musical pieces, Chiradip ultimately took up an adventure to create a complete song of his own composition, lyrics & arrangements, which is nothing but a completely new experience for him. His lyrics and touching melody with a tone of melancholy has become alive with the vocal of enormously talented singer Jamuna Kumari Damai, all though both of them remain occupied in their job but their practice of music is in such a serious note that music becomes their reason for beginning of a new day.

Along with the use of Classical Instruments like Flute, Santoor, Violin, Tabla, Chiradip also went de novo for the music arrangement part.
