‘Walk Rally‘ to celebrate Durga Puja getting UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage tag

The UNESCO has added Durga Puja in Kolkata to its 2021 list of Intangible Cultural Heritage, giving international recognition to the biggest religious festival of the 331-year-old city and the state of West Bengal. Commemorating the joyous occasion members of Amra- Jara Durga Puja Premi – Shri Deborshi Roy Chowdhury (from Saborno Roy Chowdhury family); Shri Sanatan Dinda (Artisan), Shri Prasun from (Rani Rasmoni’s family); Shri Mallar  Ghosh (Music Director ); Shri  Bhabotosh Sutar (Artist); Shri  Shaswata Bose (Hatibagan Sarbojanin), Sayantan Moitra (Architect), Madhuchnda Sen (Photographic Curator) & Somnath Das (Lake Pally, Santoshpur) gathered a day prior to urge the Kolkatans to join ‘Walk Rally‘ on 22nd December 2021 from Academy of Fine Arts to Esplande, 2:00 pm onwards
