Uttarakhand Tourism Development Board (UTDB) to participate in a three-day-long program at Travel and Tourism Fair being hosted at Kolkata from September 10-12.
Secretary Tourism Uttarakhand Shri Dilip Jawalkar said, “We are participating in TTF Kolkata to come together in a single platform and share information regarding the best places to visit in Uttarakhand. We have newly discovered religious and historic circuits, offbeat locations, investments areas and others that will surely be informative for the visitors.”
Additional Director, Uttarakhand Tourism Development Board (UTDB), Shri Vivek Singh Chauhan said, “The department will introduce newly developed circuits of the state. The Garhwal Mandal Vikas Nigam (GMVN) and Kumaun Mandal Vikas Nigam (KMVN) will also be part of the event wherein people will get a chance to know more about the booking of the guesthouses and discounts that are given by both the organisations on special occasions.”
“Apart from this, information related to Homestays, Offbeat Locations, Workcation, Adventure Tourism will also be given to the visitors.” He added.
Many organizations and institutions related to travel business including Tourism Boards, Corporations, Tourism Departments, Hoteliers, Travel Agents, Tour Operators, Airlines, Taxi Operators, Travel Media will also be participating in the fair.
