Ukiyoto Literary Awards Concluded In High Note

In presence of eminent poets and authors from various parts of the country,the chief guest, Retd.Brigadier N L Mukherjee inaugurated a Literary Awards event organised by Ukiyoto .The occasion was graced by other prominent authors like Siddharth Mukhopadhyay, Subhomay Day and Manmohan Sadana. all of these authors were awarded for their outstanding work in respective fields.

The winning authors/poets flew in from all parts of the country to receive their awards. Saachi Dhillon’s book Dreaming of Everest was launched during the event. It follows the journey of a young, courageous woman who wishes to trek to the base of the world’s highest mountain, The Everest Base Camp (5364 m) in Nepal. Despite limited trekking experience, Saachi sets her sights high and embarks on a 130-km long maiden trek through a region of outstanding natural beauty.

                           

Dr Harmeet Kaur Bhalla’s first novel of the trilogy series ‘She Will Move Mountains’ unfolds in 1945. It depicts the relentless struggle and success of the female protagonist Miranda.  Abhinandan Bhattacharya’s book titled Inara promises to the reader that never shall one’s spirit be Extinguished. Our benign existence is all for a cause Like the lamb that knows not of Until another familiar bleat, Then so be it – Abhinandan inspires mortal souls to ‘live’ life! Award Winning author Anwesha Mittra’s latest book Red Vine  follows the life of thirteen-year-old Kafal who devastated by the death of his older brother, and his own inability to express his feelings, befriends a tree. What initially seemed as an outlet for his frustrations soon turns into something vast and impossible to control. While Yogita Warde’s latest book ‘Cooker Ki Seeti’  is a collection of theatrical dramas based on the theme of ‘life during the lockdown’. The stories are inspired by real-life incidents and belong to every common Indian middle-class household.

Ukiyoto Publishings registered under the name of Isekai Labs LLP was founded by Mr Arjun Chaudhuri in the year 2019, since then they have worked all along to make a form a community of more than 2000 authors from around the globe.
