TTF Kolkata 2026 Wraps Up Successfully, Driving Strong Business Engagement

TTF Kolkata 2026 concluded successfully today at Biswa Bangla Mela Prangan, building on its 37-year legacy as one of Eastern India’s leading travel trade exhibitions. Organised by Fairfest Media, the three-day event witnessed strong participation from the travel trade and consumers alike, reflecting Kolkata’s importance as one of India’s key travel source markets.
The event was inaugurated by Shri Shankar Ghosh, Hon’ble Minister of Tourism & Parliamentary Affairs, Government of West Bengal. Emphasising the state’s tourism vision, he said:
“West Bengal has begun a new journey in tourism. We are committed to transforming the state’s immense tourism potential into performance through progressive policies, collaboration with other states, and sustainable development. Our goal is to position West Bengal as a leading tourism destination for both domestic and international travellers.”
The inauguration was also graced by Guests of Honour, Shri Satpal Maharaj, Hon’ble Minister for Tourism, Public Works, Irrigation, Culture, Rural Works & Minor Irrigation, Government of Uttarakhand; Shri Rohan A. Khaunte, Hon’ble Minister for Tourism, Information Technology, Electronics & Communications, Printing & Stationery, Government of Goa; and Khun Siriporn Tantipanyathep, Hon’ble Consul-General, Royal Thai Consulate-General along with other distinguished national and international dignitaries.
Strong Industry Participation and Diverse Showcase
TTF Kolkata 2026 featured 500+ exhibitors from 21 Indian States and 6 countries, showcasing a diverse range of destinations, travel experiences, hospitality offerings, and tourism services. The exhibition welcomed 9,000+ travel trade buyers, including travel agents, tour operators, corporate travel planners, and MICE professionals, who engaged in productive business meetings and networking sessions. The event also attracted 1,900+ general visitors, providing travellers with the opportunity to explore destinations, holiday offerings, and new travel experiences.
Global participation at TTF Kolkata 2026 reflected the importance of Eastern India as a key outbound travel source market. Thailand participated as the Featured Country, alongside Nepal, Bhutan, USA, and Vietnam, engaging with the region’s travel trade to promote destinations, strengthen partnerships, and expand their presence in the market.
West Bengal’s return as the Host State was a key highlight of TTF Kolkata 2026. Odisha, Uttarakhand, Rajasthan, Goa, Ladakh, Punjab, Chhattisgarh, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, and Gujarat participated as Partner States. Sikkim, Assam, Tamil Nadu, Delhi, Meghalaya, participated as Featured States.
Private exhibitors included KAO Tours, Radisson Hotel (South Asia), Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, Ramoji Film City, Mahindra Holidays Resorts India, CGH Earth, Silver Springs Pleasure Resorts (The Zuri Hotels & Resorts), Mono Orion Foods India, Sumi Yashshree Hotels & Resorts, and many more.
The event was also supported by leading travel and tourism associations, including TAAI, TAFI, ETAA, ADTOI, IATO, SKAL International – Kolkata, ABTO, NIMA, TIA, TAAB, TOWA, TAHAT, EHTTOA, HHTDN, TAB, JTWA, VTG, and TOAI, highlighting strong industry participation.
Knowledge Sessions, Destination Presentations and Industry Engagement
Alongside business networking, TTF Kolkata 2026 featured an engaging programme of destination presentations, knowledge sessions, and industry initiatives.
The opening day featured the inauguration of the Thailand Pavilion by the Royal Thai Consulate-General, an interactive destination presentation by Chhattisgarh Tourism, and concluded with the launch of the poster “Sonar Bangla Thekay Sabuj Bangla” by the Association for Conservation and Tourism (ACT).
The second day witnessed an even stronger turnout of trade visitors, with destination presentations by Thailand and Punjab, an interactive quiz by the Tourism Authority of Thailand, and panel discussions on “Cyber Crime in Travel & Tourism – Creating Awareness and Preventing Fraud” and “Responsible Tourism in West Bengal”, organised by the Association for Conservation and Tourism (ACT).
The exhibition opened to general visitors on the final day, allowing travellers to explore destinations and holiday offerings from across India and overseas. The event concluded with the Valedictory & Awards Ceremony, recognising exhibitors and participants across various award categories for excellence in presentation, innovation, and visitor engagement.
