An agreement was signed on Teachers’ Day between Cambridge Assessment International Education (CA1E) and London Intellectuals, empowering the later as an associate partner of CAIE. The CAIE is part of University of Cambridge and it prepares school students for life, helping them develop an informed curiosity and a lasting passion for learning. With this agreement, London Intellectuals, as an associate partner of CAIE will be providing consultancy for schools applying for membership/ affiliation, conduct C.A.I.E educational courses, training programmes and assessments. London Intellectuals, an educational institution, is the first associate partner for CAIE in India, a division of Cambridge University Press & Assessment.
The vision of London Intellectuals is to empower students to acquire, demonstrate, and articulat( value knowledge and skills that will support them, as life-long learners to participate and contribute to the global world. This vision also aims to help students develop respect, tolerance and excellence in every sphere.
St. Augustine’s Day School was the venue partner and the whole event was organised at the C.R Gasper Memorial Hall. The agreement was signed in presence of Arun Rajamani, MD, South Asia, Cambridge University Press and members of governing body of London Intellectuals Lorraine Mirza, Chairman and Sujata Sen, Honorary Director General. Also present at the occasion were board of members of London Intellectual Society including Dr.Richard Gasper, Principal,St.Augustine’s Day School, Kolkata.
Speaking at the event, Lorraine Mirza said, “London Intellectual will play a greater role in supporting meritorious and deserving students from middle class background who want to mak it big in the international arena”.
Sujata Sen, Hony.Director General, London Intellectual added that CAM has grade system which is benefitting students more when compared to marks. “Schools getting affiliated under CAIE, through London Intellectuals will get affiliation at very concessional rates,” she said, adding that CAIE is recognized in all colleges across India.
