Rajesh Tiwary: The Journey of a Passionate Actor

Desk: Rajesh Tiwary, originally from Ballia, Uttar Pradesh, was raised in Howrah, West Bengal. Here he received his primary education. Later, he pursued his college education at Calcutta University. His passion for cinema had always been a driving force. After completing his graduation, he started working in a private company. However, he soon realized that acting was his true calling.

With a steadfast desire to become an actor, Rajesh left his job and enrolled in the prestigious “Sangeet Kala Mandir”. Here, he worked hard to refine his acting skills. Despite the challenges of juggling work, family, and acting classes, he persevered for six years. Eventually, he moved to Mumbai to chase his dream.

Rajesh Tiwary’s Screen Acting Debut

In 2003, Actor Rajesh Tiwary made his screen acting debut in Neeraj Pandey’s film “Kambakht Ishq – Ittefaq”. He shared the screen with renowned actor KK Menon in this film. He made his big-screen debut in 2011 with Kamleshwar Mukherjee’s Bengali film “URO CHITTHI”. Later, in 2012, Rajesh was offered the role of “Panu Babu” in the acclaimed series “Gora,” based on a novel by Tagore.

Actor Rajesh was offered the part of Ram Chandra, the elder brother of Swami Vivekananda, in the film “The Light – Swami Vivekananda” in 2013. That same year, he had the privilege of working with late National Award-winning director Buddhadeb Dasgupta on the Hindi film “Anwar ka Ajab Kissa”. In the film, he shared the screen with Nawazuddin Siddiqui.

Rajesh Tiwary was part of the highly successful film “MS DHONI”. He was also part of the film “Chhoti Moti Batein – Sweet Home”, presented by Buddhadeb Dasgupta. He shared the screen with renowned Bollywood actors Kulbhushan Kharbanda and Tanisha Chatterjee. Rajesh continued his acting journey with the film “The Great Freedom Fighter Lokmanya Bal Gangadhar Tilak – Swaraj My Birthright”, directed by Vinay Dhumale.

Rajesh had the honor of collaborating with legendary cricketer Sourav Ganguly in a Fortune Company advertisement film in 2020. The following year, he had the opportunity to work with Bollywood star Abhishek Bachchan in the highly-anticipated film “BOB BISWAS”. He also had the chance to work with Pankaj Tripathi in the film “SHERDIL”. In addition to his acting career, Rajesh is an avid reader of books and novels, loves exploring new destinations, and is a passionate music lover.
