Supply Chain Innovation: The Path to Success!

When most people think about innovation, they immediately think about creating new business models or designing new products. However, innovation is not just that. Based on this, it is easy to assume that an innovation in supply chain management is superior to simple supply chain management. BIBS (BENGAL INSTITUTE OF BUSINESS STUDIES) had organized a panel discussion on Innovation & Transformation in Supply Chain. The idea behind this event was to introduce their students and aspiring management students with crucial components of supply chain management, especially in today’s rapidly changing business landscape. It will provide them with an insight from leading industry specialists who are associated with top brands such as Delhivery, WallmartFlipkart,Reliance, DHL, Landmark group, as they share their experience and interact with the students who will be part of the event. The Institute really wanted to educate young minds on Innovation & Transformation in Supply Chain.

In the speakers panel, they had Mr. Sujon Palit – Sr. Manager HR -Gateway East Region – Delhivery Mr. Soumov Kundu – Regional Operation Director – East – DHL Supply Chain India Pvt. Ltd. Mr. Sudipto Ghosh – Associate Director- HRBP – Walmart Flipkart Mr. Ashish Pathak – Planning Manager – Reliance Retail Mr. Rakesh Kumar – Senior Manager Supply Chain – Max Retail Division (landmark Group). They had a Q&A Session with the students.Q&A sessions provided students where their queries were answered along with guidance from industry specialists in the field of supply chain management.

All the esteemed speakers spoke about how India’s supply chain management industry is expected to experience significant growth in 2023 and beyond, driven by several factors along with innovations and transformations that are critical to supply chain management as they help companies stay competitive, improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction. Companies that embrace innovation and transformation are better positioned to succeed in today’s dynamic business environment.
