Spinny organizes Vaccination Drive for all its Employees and their Family Members

Given the second wave’s severity and vaccines being the best precaution against COVID-19, Spinny has been holding free vaccination camps in different locations for its employee and their immediate family members, which includes the spouse, children and parents.


As the safety and well-being of both employees and customers continue to be Spinny’s top priority, vaccinating the employees ensures customer interactions and its facilities remain safe.

An employee from the Company’s finance department in Delhi-NCR revealed that getting his mother vaccinated was proving to be a challenge due to the unavailability of a suitable slot. Thanks to Spinny’s free vaccination camp, however, he was able to get this mother vaccinated safely and comfortably.


The Company has already organized vaccination drives in Bengaluru + Mysore      (25 May onwards) and Delhi-NCR (Gurgaon + Noida) (29 May onwards). The camps have been well received with a record turnout of Spinny team members and their families, where they were administered the first dose of the vaccine.


Spinny is now holding a free vaccination camp in Kolkata for its local employees and their family members living in and around the city. Vaccination drives for Hyderabad, Mumbai, Pune, Ahmedabad and Chennai are in process. In the interests of employee well-being, all costs of the vaccination are being borne by the Company. Employees only need to fill the consent form with all relevant details of those who are to be vaccinated while showing a Government-authorised ID proof to be eligible for the vaccine.

Also, in line with official protocol, the employees and their eligible dependents have to first register themselves on the Co-WIN platform using their Aadhar Card as the registration ID.


Spinny believes the vaccination drives will help it unlock safely and #WithExtraCare in each city where it has a presence. It will also help the Company continue to set best practices in contactless car buying and selling, which is gaining growing acceptance among customers.

Spinny has also provided delivery trucks used to deliver cars to its customers to 1MG Labs to conduct speedy on-the-spot drive-through collections in Sectors 29, 21 and 56 in Gurgaon; and select locations in Delhi and Bengaluru.

Other policies for employees in response to COVID-19

Making work from home work better: Regarding the WFH policy, since the pandemic’s threat, Spinny was one of the first companies to issue complete work from home policies since March’2020. Thereon, Spinny’s employees have been working from home, except for staff members that are involved in field operations, as they don’t need to be in a confined space for a long time.

Financial aid/advances: Up to 45 days of advance salary option for all team members, without any prior approval – to be processed the same day

Counseling support: Org-wide sessions on mental health & wellness, and one-on-one counseling sessions for any team member who may need it.

Group insurance / mediclaim: We will be holding a refresher session for the current medical insurance policy. In addition to this, we will also try and partner with insurance providers for additional cover.
