National award winning director Suman Ghosh’s Kabuliwala was recently screened at South City Inox organized by Prabha Khaitan Foundation. ‘Chalchitra Rangmanch’ is an innovative platform in the world of culture and entertainment. Under the banner of which various cultural activities take place. This time Kabuliwala was shown in that initiative. Actors Abir Chatterjee, Sohini Sarkar, Anumegha Kahali, director Suman Ghosh, Prabha Khaitan Foundation Chief Operating Officer Manisha Jain, Munmun Sen, Mimi Chakraborty, Isha Saha, Saswata Chatterjee, Bickram Ghosh, Kaushik Ganguly, Sohag Sen, Ansuya Majumdar, Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury, Indradeep Dasgupta, Sudeshna Roy, Abhijit Guha and other prominent people from the world of culture and entertainment attended the special screening of the film.
In the words of director Suman Ghosh, ‘Sundeep Bhutoria is a very close friend of mine. Ironically, 12 years ago today, I made a film titled ‘Nobel Chor’ with Mithun Chakraborty. At that time also Sandeep threw such an event. That is how I am involved with Prabha Khaitan Foundation. Even after the success of Kabuliwala, I will never forget the cooperation of Prabha Khaitan Foundation in organizing this special screening.
