Silco group of companies (sports equipment manufacturer ) has opened its outlet in Kolkata. The brand doesn’t come anywhere close to its illustrious competitors like Nike, Adidas and Puma. Yet it has managed to carve out a special place for itself in the market.
Renowned sports personalities like rugby player Sangita Bera , ace Indian Table Tennis player Sourav Chakraborty and Arintap Dasgupta former Badminton World Junior Player for India were felicitated . Lifetime achievement award was given to Former India striker Shyam Thapa, famous Table Tennis Coach Bharati Ghosh and Writer and Journalist Rupak Saha .
