Documents such as passport, driving licence, Aadhaar card, or Voter ID etc. can be used for re-KYC. He also informed participants about unclaimed deposits funds lying in bank accounts for 10 years or more and encouraged them to use the RBI’s UDGAM portal to search and claim such deposits across multiple banks. Further, he shared information on the RBI Integrated Ombudsman Scheme, guiding customers to lodge complaints free of cost through the CMS portal or by calling the toll-free number 14448, if the complaints are not addressed by the Regulated Entities (REs) viz. banks/NBFCs/Payment System Participants/Credit Information Companies satisfactorily, or the customer has not received the reply within 30 days after the date of the representation to the REs. He also informed that financial frauds should be reported immediately by calling the National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal’s toll-free number 1930.
