Sanjiban Hospital releases 500th Covid-19 cured patient

1st July is observed as ‘National Doctor’s Day’. To commemorate the day, Sanjiban Hospital, one of the designated COVID-19 hospitals in the state located at Phuleswar, Howrah has released its 500th successfully cured Covid-19 patient today.

The 500th cured patient is a 95-year-old resident of Salkia Howrah who was admitted at Sanjiban Hospital on 21st June 2020, with Covid Positive report. After conducting pneumonitis X-Ray and several related checkups at the Sanjiban Hospital no clinical complications found on the patient body and the hospital authority have decided to release him today after 10 days of his admission.

With the aim to fighting against the deadly coronavirus disease Sanjiban Hospital has been successfully treating COVID-19 patients since months. Breaking all the records, earlier the hospital has released more than hundred treated patients at a day. In the history of ‘National Doctor’s Day’ Sanjiban Hospital will be always remembered for their eminence contribution.

While addressing the Media Dr. Subhasis Mitra, Director, Sanjiban Hospital said, “It is a satisfactory moment for Sanjiban Hospital. Today we have released the 500th Covid-19 patient from the Hospital, which is a big achievement for all of us. On National Doctor’s Day, I salute all my co-workers and the doctors who are serving the country without thinking about their own safety during this pandemic and the horrendous scenario.”
