RSH Global Announces CSR Efforts Towards Education, Nature and Covid Relief

Joy Personal Care, an Indian skincare brand from the house of RSH Global Private Limited is proud to announce the social responsibility efforts undertaken through the past year.  These efforts have been taken to help in mitigating the negative impacts of the global healthcare crisis, and other issues at a community level.

RSH Global collaborated with Rotary Club of Calcutta Yuvis Charitable Trust to upgrade Abul Kalam Azad Academy, a primary school with over 110 students every academic year.  With the joint efforts, the school has now added G+1 structure and 5 toilets. With the newly expanded building, the school has applied for an extension till class VIII and expects to get the approval soon. With this, the total student strength of the school is expected to rise by about 300 students every academic year. Similarly, the Company also undertook the renovation of WVS School for which they sanctioned about Rs. 52,9000.

Besides renovating schools, RSH Global also took several measures to conserve nature and spread awareness regarding nature conservation. For the same, The Rotary Club of Calcutta Yuvis, envisioned a mission named “Hariyali” to reverse the terrible damage caused to Kolkata’s greenery by the devastating cyclone Amphan. RSH Global also joined hands as a co-host and did a sapling plantation project ‘The Green Expedition’ at the Dhyan Ashram & St. Xavier’s College, Raghavpur. Tree saplings were also distributed to 20 villages under Dakshin Barasat Gram Panchayat  Joynagar, The Tollygunge Club and The Royal Calcutta Golf Club. In total, the Company planted about 4,500 saplings.

Additionally, the Company stepped up its efforts and joined hands with the government and community, by contributing about twenty one lakhs (Rs. 21,00,000) for Prime Minister’s Citizen Assistance and Relief in Emergency Situations or PM-CARES fund for Covid relief along with other efforts.
