‘Rong Dao Hey Rongila’ music video released in city

Acclaimed singer, composer, and songwriter Priyasmita Ghosh mesmerized audiences with the grand launch of her latest musical creation, ‘Rong Dao Hey Rongila’, an original music video celebrating the spirit of Holi, the eternal love of Radha-Krishna, and the beauty of Indian classical music and dance. The launch event, held on March 11 at Rotary Sadan, Kolkata, witnessed an overwhelming response as music enthusiasts and cultural connoisseurs gathered to experience the spellbinding performance.
The evening was graced by the presence of legendary singer Supama Smt. Swagatalakshmi Dasgupta and Hindustani Classical exponent Sangeet Ratna Navodeep Chakraborty, who inaugurated the event. ‘Rong Dao Hey Rongila’ is a deeply personal project for Priyasmita, inspired by verses written by her mother, Anushila Ghosh. The song, composed in under an hour, evolved into a semi-classical masterpiece through Priyasmita’s artistic dedication and collaboration with renowned music arranger and producer Sourav Babai Chakraborty. The music video, featuring Priyasmita as Radha, showcases the grace of Kathak, conceptualized and directed by the esteemed Vidushi Smt. Anurekha Ghosh Ji.
