Bhatpara: On the 25th foundation day of Trinamool Congress, various programs were organized in the Bhatpara Vidhan Sabha area of North 24 Parganas district. The leaders and workers took part in social activities along with hoisting the party flag in front of the party offices.
Trinamool leader and RTA member Priyangu Pandey of the district also encouraged the workers by hoisting the flag in various areas of Kankinada. During this, he along with party workers took a pledge to free the surrounding area including Bhatpara from the terror of criminal and anti-social elements.
He said, “On January 1, 1998, the All India Trinamool Congress was formed under the leadership of the country’s fastest-growing leader, Ms. Mamata Banerjee. In 24 years, the Trinamool Congress has grown from a small regional party to a major force in national politics. Today crores of people of the country are reposing their trust in TMC. People feel that good governance can be established in the country only under the leadership of Mamata Banerjee. That is why Trinamool Congress is getting full support in other states outside West Bengal as well. Our government will be formed in Goa also. At the same time, the whole country wants to see our leader Mamta Banerjee as the next Prime Minister.”
On this day, Shri Pandey participated in the football distribution program among the youth along with the distribution of textbooks and bags to the school children. Along with this, on the New Year, he worshiped and performed havan in the Madrail Hanuman temple of the region. During this, he prayed to God for happiness, peace, prosperity, and good health for the people of the region.
