Plantation by Godrej and Boyce Kolkata Branch

Godrej has  completed 125 years in the mid month of June. And on that auspicious occasion Godrej  has taken up this Go Green initiative pan India where the Company  has  taken a pledge to plant as many as 1250 trees outside Godrej premises. And this was a step and initiative towards CSR. This is at a mega level where Pan India, where the company decided to plant 1250 trees. Here in Kolkata,
Godrej and Boyce  participated in two phases.
In phase one on the occasion of world  environment day Godrej planted as many as 50 odd trees in the Company’s  premises , that is at the branch office at Salt Lake sector five and at the distribution centre at Junglepore (JGP) .
And on 15th June under phase two Godrej and Boyce tied up with Bidhannagar Municipal Corporation MC &   identified a few patches near Saltlake Sector 5 Metro Station and planted as many as 130 odd plants.  Plants consisted  of mangoes, Amla, jamun etc.
All the useful plants that  contribute to the environment and this is how the Company  gives back to the society & contributes to the eco system as a whole and towards a greener world,  towards a greener tomorrow.
So the main concept is an initiative towards a greener tomorrow.
And that’s a go green initiative taken up by the company which has been administered by branch commercial division at all the branch locations. It is a big effort taken by the Commercial Division with a great zeal and enthusiasm.
The occasion was graced by the Branch Commercial Manager – Mr. Irfan Wadood . Team Leaders – Sr. Manager Administration– Mr. Sumit Kandulna. Chief manager – Customer Support  – Mr. Ali Imam. Sr. Manager  Logistics : Mr. Mandeep Banerjee in association with BMC team head Mrs. Rahima Bibi , Honourable Mayor In Council Graced the Occasion of Plantation .
Branch Employees – Soumen Sinha , Soumick Mukherjee , Shouvik Das , Debabrata Pandit – Played important roles in the activity .
