Over 200 Educators Gather in Kolkata for Get Set Learn’s Future Ready Conclave 2025

Get Set Learn, a future-skills-focused learning startup backed by the Arvind Mafatlal Group, successfully hosted its 8th Future Ready Conclave in Kolkata. This landmark event brought together over 200 educators, principals, and school leaders from across India, marking it as Kolkata’s largest skills-focused educators’ conference ever held.
As India’s premier STEM and future-skills event, the conclave was designed to empower educators with the tools, knowledge, and strategies needed to prepare students for a rapidly evolving world, with a strong emphasis on integrating AI, robotics, and design thinking into modern curricula.
The theme of the 8th Future Ready Conclave 2025 was “Innovating Classrooms, Inspiring Futures”, reflecting the urgent need to embed AI, robotics, and design thinking into everyday teaching.
The imperative for future-ready education is clear, with over 85% of school students nationwide now using AI for career counselling, signalling a profound shift in youth engagement with technology. This pervasive influence of AI makes Kolkata’s proactive integration of these tools into its educational framework particularly vital. Schools across the city are actively equipping students to be critical thinkers and innovators in an AI-driven world. This commitment is further solidified by events like the Future Ready Conclave, ensuring the next generation is prepared for the technological landscape.
The Conclave commenced with a lamp lighting ceremony and a welcome address by Mr. Pratik Ghosh Dastidar, President – Sales, Get Set Learn. The special address was delivered by Dr. Ritu Uppal, Chief Academic Officer, Get Set Learn, followed by a keynote address from Mr. Piyush Prasad, VP & Head, Education R&T, IIT Delhi (IHFC), who spoke about the importance of skills-based learning in school education, offering a visionary roadmap for integrating AI, robotics, and design thinking into Indian classrooms.

The day featured an invigorating panel discussion on “Brain to Bots – Transforming Users to Creators: Building the Ecosystem”, which included Mr. Piyush Prasad, VP & Head, Education R&T, IIT Delhi (IHFC); Dr. Ritu Uppal, Chief Academic Officer, Get Set Learn; Mr. Puneet Pradhan, Advisor & Director, KIT/KISS University (Deemed); Ms. Keya Sinha, Director – Academic, National Gems Higher Secondary School; Terence John, the Director of Education & Development, of Julien Day group of schools and Mr. Dipankar Pal, ATL In-Charge, Lakshmipat Singhania Academy. The panel highlighted the importance of embedding future-ready skills into school curricula.
The Conclave also witnessed student innovation showcases and live demos at interactive stalls. During the course of the day, there were hands-on training sessions for principals, led by Mr. Shashank Sanas, Head – Training, Get Set Learn.
Abir Ghosh, IT Facilitator & Computer Science Teacher, Modern High School International, said: “Watching my students present their STEAM projects at the Future Ready Conclave is clear proof of why hands-on learning is so powerful. It’s giving them the confidence to turn ideas into real solutions. From building simple AI-based prototypes to designing eco-friendly models and real-world robotics applications, they are showing us that innovation can start at any age when curiosity is nurtured.”
Principals, Directors, and other educators from over 100 schools – including Loreto House, Loreto School (Bowbazar), Loreto Day School (Dharmatala), Julien Day Group of Schools, Narayana Group of Schools, Aditya Group of Schools, St. James’ School, St. Joseph’s College (School), Modern High School International, GD Birla School, Ashok Hall School, Shri Shikshayatan School, Ballygunge Shiksha Sadan, DPS Newtown, The Aryans School, Adamas World School, St. Xavier’s, and St. Xavier’s Collegiate School – participated in the day-long Conclave.
