Opening ceremony of the CISCE National Pre-Subroto Cup held in city
Subroto Cup is the prestigious National Football Championship Tournament at school level. Every year, it is organized by the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE), the only private school education board in India. It is also a basic talent hunt programme at school level. Subroto Cup is the national football Championship Tournament of schools. The participating teams are the winners of their respective region / state. Today’s programme held, at AIFF National Centre of Excellence Football Ground Rajarhat, is the opening ceremony of the CISCE National Pre-Subroto Cup, a football tournament for U-17 boys .Dr. G. Immanual, Chairman, CISCE, as the Chief Guest, Dr. Josef Immanual, secretary & chief Executive, CISCE and Mr. Arijit Basu, secretary of finance CISCE, as a special guest will grace this inaugural program.This tournament has champions teams from all over India who are representing their state / region.
This tournament, hosted by Ratnakar North Point School, promises to be a significant event in the sports calendar, bringing together young talents from across the nation. We believe that the presence of the media will not only enhance the visibility of the event but also inspire the young athletes participating in the tournament. . This year, this tournament is hosted by Ratnakar North Point School , under the leadership of Mr. Sailesh Pandey, Principal of the school & CISCE Regional Co-coordinator, West Bengal & NE States to encourage football as a sport and, at the same time, identify promising talents at the grassroots level. The tournament is scheduled to start on 23rd July and shall culminate on 26th July. Teams from the states of Chhattisgarh, Kerala, Maharashtra & Goa region, North India region, Odisha, Tamil Nadu and Puducherry, Uttar Pradesh & Uttrakhand region, West Bengal and North East Region, Andhra Pradesh & Telanghana region and Karnataka will be showcasing their talent.
