Opening ceremony of art facilities at SPK Jain Futuristic Academy

In a pioneering move towards inclusive cultural education, SPK Jain Futuristic Academy in New Town, Kolkata, unveils its expansive new facilities dedicated to the arts. This includes two 900-square-foot music rooms, a state-of-the-art dance studio, and three versatile art spaces, all open to both students and the community.

Celebrating this major expansion, the inauguration was graced by Kolkata’s artistic stalwarts – painter and sculptor Subrata Gangopadhyay, vocalist Paroma Banerjee, choreographer Sudarshan Chakraborty, and folk artist Dipannita Acharya. This initiative reflects the academy’s deep commitment to nurturing artistic talent and fostering community engagement.

Each music room, spacious and well-equipped, is designed to cater to a range of musical interests and talents, encouraging both individual practice and ensemble performances. The dance studio, with its advanced facilities, is poised to become a hub for aspiring dancers, offering a space for creative exploration and expression. The art spaces, diverse in their setup, are intended to inspire budding artists in various mediums, from traditional painting to contemporary digital art.

Mr. Jaideep Patwa, Secretary of SPK Jain Futuristic Academy, emphasized the academy’s vision, stating, “Our goal is to blur the lines between academic education and artistic cultivation. By opening our doors to the community, we are not only enriching our students’ experiences but also contributing to Kolkata’s rich cultural tapestry.”

This initiative positions SPK Jain Futuristic Academy at the forefront of integrating education with community service, offering a unique blend of academic excellence and artistic exploration. As part of the esteemed Shri S. S. Jain Sabha, the academy continues to lead in innovative education and community development.
