hoichoi marks the most eccentric celebrations for its musical retelling of Sarat Chandra Chattopadhyay’s Classic and new Original, Srikanto, with a festive press conference embellished with the two major elements of the show – fashion and music, to bring an the mood of Srikanto throughout the evening.
The Srikanto musical Fashion Eve, witnessed the lead star cast of the show — Sohini Sarkar, Rishav Basu, Shreema Bhattacherjee and Angana Roy, on the ramp along with the city’s prominent influencers, showcasing the designs of various independent brand artists as the roaring musicians of Srikanto perform live during the fashion show.
Besides above-mentioned actors the series also stars the tollywood sensation Madhumita Sarcar and the widely celebrated Tamil actor Gayathrie Shankar, who marked her debut in the world of Bengali entertainment with Srikanto.
With Srikanto having a major plot with fashion and designing, hoichoi keeping the essence alive at the press conference, upheld the creations of the independent artists and designers of the city as it also organizes a pop-up for the indie clothing and jewelry brand’s like Abeo, Cuprum Quirks, Hiya, Stree, and Butterfly Tree.
The soul-full musical essence of the Sani Ghose Ray directed, and presented live by the musicians of Srikanto. namely Anis Ahmed, Pralay Sarkar, Debayan Banerjee and Srijita Mitra throughout the event, further accentuated the clement of musical retelling of Sarat Chandra Chattopadhya’s classic tale. After receiving , a phenomenal response for its previously released songs, ‘Amake Nao’ and ‘O Radhe Radhe’, the event also witnessed the launch of the third song from the album of Srikanto, ‘Rajyopath’,

Slated to stream on hoichoi from the 14th of April, Srikanto, is all set to narrate the timeless love story of Rajlokkhi and Srikanto, through a musical journey.
