In the press conference organized by Nilambar at the Press Club, Kolkata, the Patron of the institution, Mrityunjay Kumar Singh, President-Yatish Kumar and Deputy Secretary-Anand Gupta provided the information. Kolkata 16 November: The annual festival ‘Literaria’ of the country’s prestigious literary-cultural organization Nilambar will be organized from 18th to 20th November 2022 this year.
The sixth edition of Literaria will be held at B. C. Roy Auditorium, Sealdah. The main goal of Literaria is to create a literary environment by gathering poets, writers, critics, dramatists and artists from across the country on one platform. The first day of the three-day program will begin with the launch of Nilambar’s quarterly magazine ‘Saptaparni’. Thereafter, music performance will be by Taapsee Nagraj and Muralidhar Nagraj. Chief guest Alka Saraogi and Prabal Kumar Basu will deliver the Inaugural speech. In this session, ‘Ninad Samman’ will be awarded to Syed Mohammad Irfan for his commendable contribution in media, society and literature. In the second session, seminar will be held on the topic ‘Second search of tradition’ wherein Prof. Sudhish Pachauri, Prof. Shambhunath, Prakash Uday, Ashish Mishra and Yogesh Tiwari will present their views.
At the end of the day, based on Arun Prakash’s story ‘Bela Ekka Laut Rahi Hai’, a film by the same name produced by Neelambar, will be screened. This film is directed by Ritesh Kumar. The second day will start with ‘Yuva-Samvad’. In the discussion on the topic ‘Hum in Hindi’, Priyanka Parmar, Akanksha Mishra, Tanya Chaturvedi, Anoop Yadav and Vivek Kumar Sao will participate. Thereafter, Bharti Dixit will narrate the story ‘Mandu Mein Prem’. In the dialogue session organized on ‘Tradition and History’, Ved Raman Pandey, Ashok Pandey, Kiran Singh and Anjani Kumar Srivastava will put their points of view. In the second session, ‘Kavita-Parv 1’ will be organized in which Soumitra Mohan, Vinod Padraj, Shashwati Sanyal (Bengali), Sujata, Rahi Dumarchir, Poonam Sonchhatra will recite poetry. At the end of the day, the play ‘Teen Tilange’ will be staged by the team members of Nilambar which is directed by Ritesh Kumar.
The third day will start with Kiran Singh’s story narration, where she will narrate the story ‘Sanjha’. On this day, Pragya Daya Pawar, Bajrang Bihari Tiwari, Pallav, Sujata and Priyanka Narayan will be present for discussion in a dialogue session focused on the topic ‘Marginalized People’. There will be poetry recitation in ‘Kavita-Parv 2’. by Prayag Shukla, Harish Chandra Pandey, Pragya Daya Pawar (Marathi), Prabhat, Anupam Singh and Archana Lark. In the concluding session, Song-music and drama will be organized wherein the talented young singer Ishani Kulkarni, who has arrived from Pune will perform. The play ‘Padmank Gatha’ directed by the country’s well-known artist Piyal Bhattacharya will be staged thereafter. On this occasion, Piyal Bhattacharya will be honored with ‘Ravi Dave Smriti Samman’ for his unparallel contribution to theatre.
