National e-workshop on Innovation & Intellectual Property Rights organised by CSIR-IMMT: InTEC

The week-long National e-Workshop on Innovation &Intellectual Property Rights organised by CSIR-IMMT (Institute of Minerals and Materials Technology), Bhubaneswar, Odisha concludes today.

Speaking on this occasion Prof. Dr. S Basu, Director, CSIR-IMMT Bhubaneswar, said, we have successful conducted this week-long e workshop on Innovation & Intellectual Property Rights. All the sessions were very informative and useful. We will conduct such workshops in near future also.

The closing ceremony witnessed the presence Academic experts like Mr.Amiya Kumar Kalidaha Senior Scientific Officer; Government of West Bengal Department of Science & Technology and Biotechnology, Prof. (Dr.) Gurmeet Kaur, Department of Chemistry, Chandigarh University, Gharuan, Mohali (Punjab), Dr. Shivanand Masti, Head-Thin Film and Material Science Division Department of Physics: Dr. Ghali College Gadhinalai, Dr Sanjukta Badhai, Evangelist at Startup Odisha, Prof. Dr. S Basu, Director, CSIR-IMMT, Dr. Kesur Ram, Dr Ashok K Sahu, Chief Scientist & CEO-InTEC, Dr B S Jena, Chief Scientist, Head-PME, Dr Pavan Kumar, Sr Scientist & Manager InTEC along with other guests and delegates.


During this week-long e workshop from 14th -19th June 2021, more than 1000 participants actively took part in different sessions with practical experiences, case studies and hands-on training on various aspects of IPRs dealt with about 22 experts from different working domains such as IP firms, Academia, Scientific, and Indian Patent Office etc., covering the major players of the IP ecosystem.

The speakers expressed their happiness for organising such an informative and useful e-Workshop on Innovation and IPR and expressed their desire of having  many such conferences of this type in future which will providethe participants with such a wonderful and enjoyable learning experience.
