Much to the relief of musicians and their audience, live offline classical music and dance festival will be held in the city. NAAD-Music & Dance Festival a unique music and dance festival presented by Pdt Bickram Ghosh was unveiled by celebrated music maestros Tejendra Narayan Majumdar, Tanmoy Bose, Anindya Chatterjee, Bickram Ghosh, Anubrata Chatterjee, Debasish Bhattacharya and danseuse Guru Sharmila Biswas at a Press Meet held at the Bengal Chamber of Commerce & Industry.NAAD- Music & Dance Festival is being presented by the Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Kolkata, Pandit Shankar Ghosh Tabla Foundation in association with the Bengal Chamber of Commerce & Industry.
Percussion Guru Pdt Bickram Ghosh shall curate the NAAD- Music & Dance Festival who is also the Director of the Festival.
DAY 1, 25th March’22- The line up shall include musical luminaries as Pdt Debasish Bhattacharya, Vidwan Rajesh Vaidhya, Vidwan S. Sekhar and Pdt Anindyo Chatterjee as the opening performance in a North-South jugalbandi followed by featuring Shri Rakesh Chaurasia and Shri Anubrata Chatterjee.
DAY 2, 26th March’22- The day opens with a Bharat Natyam performance by Vidushi Rama Vaidyanathan and followed by Classical Sarod and Tabla jugalbandi featuring Pdt Tejendra Narayan Majumdar and Pdt Tanmoy Bose.
DAY 3, 27th March’22- The final day features Vidushi Sharmila Biswas with her Odissi performance.
The final act features Drums of India with Pdt Bickram Ghosh on Tabla, Vidwan V Suresh on Ghatam, Shri Bhardwaj Sathravalli on Morsing and Shri Gopal Barman on Srikhol.
