Maharashtra aims to attract more tourists from Eastern India

Maharashtra has a huge heritage of ancient, cultural and natural tourism.  To further boost the  tourism in the state, several new projects and initiatives are undertaken in recent times  by the Directorate of Tourism, both  at the national and international level. The state has many tourist destinations  like beaches, palaces, caves, wildlives etc. Information about all these tourist places should be made available to tourists from the country as well as abroad so that they can visit and enjoy these places.

Directorate of Tourism, Govt. of Maharashtra, embarking on an unprecedented journey across India to establish a dynamic platform that enables traders to showcase their products while promotion of tourism in Maharashtra. This fair presents an exceptional opportunity to start new trade relationships with regional and global partners. Directorate of Tourism, Govt. of Maharashtra pavilion featured the participation of 11 esteemed tourism companies, accompanied by a strong presence of over 25 Maharashtra-based companies. Ms. Supriya Datar Deputy Director, Directorate of Tourism, Govt. of Maharashtra and Ms. Preeti Vanage Pawar Tourism Specialist, Directorate of Tourism, Govt. of Maharashtra inaugurated the exhibition stall in the presence of prominent Maharashtra-based companies.

Located at Biswa Bangla Mela Prangan, Park Circus, this event marks the beginning of the 1st trade fair show in the series, on the land of West Bengal, by Directorate of Tourism, Government of Maharashtra. In coming months, they are going to set foot on Bangalore, Ahmadabad, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Delhi NCR and Chennai to continue the show. The trade fair events will showcase Maharashtra’s unique attractions and provide an opportunity for visitors to discover the diversity that the state has to offer. With events planned in cities spanning the east, west, north, and south regions of the country, Directorate of Tourism, Govt. of Maharashtra aims to reach a wide audience and promote the state as a must-visit destination for both domestic and international travelers.

Ltd. ; Rhythm Hospitality ; Travnet Tourism Services Pvt. Ltd. ; Veena World ; Mani Holidays And Management Pvt. Ltd ; Ankur Tour And Travel Pvt. Ltd. and Hindustan Travels
