Magical flute evening

It was a perfect evening for the music lovers in the city. Flute maestro Pandit Hariprasad Chaurasia mesmerized the jam-packed audienceduring a concert held at the kalamandir.The maestro proved that, at 84, he is still capable of holding the  audience spellbound with the tunes of his flute. The maestro was ably accompanied by his nephew and most accomplished disciple, Rakesh Chaurasia and  Ramkumar Mishra on the Tabla .

Widely credited for popularizing flute all over the world as a mainstream instrument, , Pandit Hariprasad Chaurasia has won countless awards, including the Padma Vibhushan by the Government of India.
