The International Day of Families is celebrated every year on 15th May in order to reflect the importance which global community attaches to the families. The idea of celebrating the International Day of Families was first proposed by the UN General Assembly in the year 1993.
Recently, Lotus rescue celebrated international family day on the 15th of May. The children were taught the importance of the families, their values and was made to draw family trees.
