Today it has 210 beds. 70 non-practicing consultants, and 350 nurses. 1 Consultant intensivist, 1 consultant neurosurgeon, and 1 consultant anaesthetist are on duty at night so that any neuro emergency can be treated on the spot by a consultant. This is an unique feature in the city. With the increasing demand I-NK has acquired a new clinic building at 6B, AJC Bose Road, a Research and Diagnostic Building at 10 West Range, an upcoming building in the existing space, and in the process of acquiring a 4 storey building on Park street for starting a college of Physiotherapy and Occupational therapy approved by the WBUHS from July 2023.
