Boroline Presents, in association with Eventizer, the 6th International Kolkata Short Film Festival (IKSFF) 2026, concluded successfully on 25th January 2026 at Rotary Sadan, Kolkata, marking a landmark chapter in the festival’s journey as Eastern India’s longest-running and most prestigious short film festival. Held from 20th to 25th January 2026, the festival witnessed overwhelming participation from filmmakers, industry professionals, students, cinephiles, and media from across the globe.

Hosted in a hybrid format, IKSFF 2026seamlessly blended online screenings on eFilmZone with vibrant physical events across Adamas University, Sister Nivedita University, and Rotary Sadan, reaffirming its global reach and inclusive vision.

CineBridge – A Historic Industry Initiative

A defining highlight of IKSFF 2026 was the launch of CineBridge, Kolkata’s first dedicated industry interaction and market platform for independent filmmakers, held on 24th January 2026 at Rotary Sadan. CineBridge enabled meaningful interactions between filmmakers and OTT platforms, producers, investors, and production houses, creating new pathways for collaboration, production, and distribution. Renowned production houses such as Little Lamb Films and EON Films, along with several prominent Kolkata-based studios, participated in this landmark initiative.
