A 13-Member Cultural delegation Ifjú Szivek Dance Theatre from Slovakia mesmerized the city audience last night at Satyajit Ray Auditorium, Iccr Kolkata. They were here in the city for the ongoing India International Tribal Festival 2024, hosted by ICCR Zonal Office (East) Kolkata
Ifjú Szivek Dance Theatre is one of the most significant companies in the Hungarian traditional dance revival movement and in the Hungarian dance and cultural life of Slovakia. Through its theatrical dance performances the greatest merit of the dance theatre is to show and strengthen the social appreciation of the traditional dance and music culture of Central Europe both within and outside Slovakia.
Using the language of traditional dance, music and costume as an integral part of our thought provoking performances, dance theatre presents programs that reveal complex ideas and layers within.
The performance was received with standing ovation by the audience . The energetic and passionate dancers and colorful costumes cast a spell on the audience.
