Reinforcing its commitment to promoting sporting excellence and creating training opportunities for aspiring athletes, Hindusthan Club inaugurated the “Bulls Eye Rifle Shooting Arena”, a modern 10-Metre Air Rifle & Pistol Shooting Arena, in the esteemed presence of representatives from the West Bengal Rifle Association. The grand inauguration ceremony was attended by Mr. Solomon Nesakumar for his contribution and support towards this project. Mr. Solomon Nesakumar is an IPS Additional Commissioner of Police, Kolkata, Mr. Deb Kumar Samanta, Secretary General of West Bengal Rifle Association Hindusthan Club President Sanjay Goenka, Shri C.S. Sarda, Mr. Sanjiv Goenka, President of Hindusthan Club, along with distinguished club officials including Mr. Kamal Ghelani, Honorary Secretary, Swati Bihani, Joint Secretary, Mr. Jigar Malani, Sports Chairperson, and Mr. Vaibhav Nahata, Sports Chairperson.
The newly launched arena marks a significant milestone in Hindusthan Club’s continued efforts to encourage sporting culture, discipline, and holistic development among members and young enthusiasts. Designed to meet professional training standards, the facility aims to provide aspiring shooters with access to structured coaching, modern infrastructure, and opportunities to develop competitive skills in one of India’s fastest-growing precision sports. Shooting as a sport is widely recognized for enhancing concentration, mental agility, focus, emotional control, and decision-making abilities. Experts believe that regular participation in shooting sports helps cultivate discipline, patience, confidence, and resilience—qualities that extend beyond the sporting arena into everyday life.
