‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ bike rally to be held in city

Commemorating the 75th years of Independence under the theme “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav” and raising awareness on ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign, All India Riding Community (A.I.R.C ) is organising  first-of-its-kind  bike rally in the city called Tiranga ride this coming Sunday.

More than 200 bikers representing 17 Riding Clubs along with solo riders, female riders will participate in this rally which would be of 75 kms and there would be plantation of 75 trees.

Speaking at the press meet, Founder Member Avijit Roy said bikers from the city and the surrounding suburbs have all have come together will full enthusiasm to be a part of this rally. A team from Patna will also join the rally.

President Tarun Biswas said “We will also be spreading awareness about climate change.” Vice President- Samudra Gupta also added,”Through the rally we will also spread awareness about the importance of helmets and road safety.”

Ahead of the 75th Independence Day this year, the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign was launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi last month. It aims at evoking a feeling of patriotism by exhorting people across the country to hoist the national flag between August 13 and 15, when the country completes 75 years of its independence.
