
A eight-year-old wushu player and budding dancer from Kolkata, Aalok Shaw charmed his way into everyone’ hearts with his dancing performances and wushu skills. Humble and shy, but strong in what he does, he typifies hard work and warrior-like attitude. Aalok’s performance at the 19th Sub-Junior National WUSHU Championship-2019 impressed everyone.
Aalok was crowned winner at the Colors’ hit reality show ‘Dance Deewane’.Judges were in awe of the little wonder who also made them thoroughly impressed with his superb dance moves. With his Jug Ghoomeya moves, he left Salman Khan and Madhuri Dixit amazed. His stellar performance of doing 200 head spins in one go made actor Akshay Kumar declare him a bright future in martial arts.
Aaalok says “For wushu I would credit this to my guru my teachers Shambhu Sir, Gautam Sir and Gaurav Sir . My confidence increased after my interaction with Akshay Kumar. “He got an opportunity to act in Colors’ Kesari Nandan and has given guest performance in Colors’ Naagin.
” I just want him to be happy and continue what he is doing right now as he is too small to be pushed at something specific. He needs to enjoy what he is doing.” said Dipak Kr Shaw father of Aalok.
“He is a gifted child and extremely hardworking. I wish him the best in all that the future holds for him!” added Shambhu Seth the Founder & General Secretary of the Wushu Association of West Bengal
The real struggle begins now as Aalok dreams to establish himself as one of the finest artists in the industry.
