Flipkart, India’s homegrown e-commerce marketplace, today reaffirmed its long-term commitment to West Bengal through investments in supply chain infrastructure, technology, skills and market access. Home to Flipkart’s largest fulfilment centre in India, the state continues to play a strategic role in the company’s digital commerce network. At the centre of these investments is Flipkart’s Haringhata campus, the company’s largest fulfilment centre in the country. With 50 lakh cubic feet of storage, advanced automation and the Indian Green Building Council’s Platinum certification, the facility is enhancing logistics efficiency while strengthening West Bengal’s position as a key digital commerce hub.
Flipkart has also built a network of more than 300 fulfilment centres, mother hubs and last-mile delivery facilities across the state, supporting over 1.2 lakh direct and indirect jobs. Flipkart Minutes has established 90 Micro Fulfilment Centres, creating close to 10,000 employment opportunities, while hundreds of local farmers are benefiting from improved market access.

Today, more than 66,000 sellers from West Bengal reach customers nationwide through Flipkart. The company also supports local artisans through Flipkart Samarth, partners with over 35,000 smallholder farmers through Walmart Foundation-backed programmes, and continues its environmental efforts through mangrove restoration initiatives in the Sundarbans.
