Flex Arm 2025 held in city, sees good participation from various states

Arm-wrestling is gaining traction in India, largely thanks to the launch of the Pro Panja League (PPL) and the impressive performances of Indian athletes on the international stage. This year, India secured 176 medals across various categories at the prestigious 23rd Asian Arm-wrestling Championship and the 22nd Asian Para-Arm-wrestling Championship, hosted by the People’s Arm-Wrestling Federation of India (PAFI) in New Delhi. The sport is also featured in events like the Youth Asian Games and the World Police Games.
Kolkata hosted its largest arm-wrestling event, ‘Flex Arm 2025,’ on October 26, 2025, at the Dhono Dhanyo Auditorium. Organized by Stamina Unleashed, this competition aims to promote physical fitness while highlighting individual strength and endurance. The organization frequently holds such events to boost sports participation, cultivate a fitness culture, and instill positive values in the community, especially among the youth.
“This is one of the most significant arm-wrestling events in India, offering a cash prize of ₹2 lakhs. Renowned athletes from across the country will compete, providing a fantastic opportunity for Bengal’s athletes to engage with and learn from experienced competitors,” said David Khan of Stamina Unleashed.
