Farmer’s son Abhijit Das fights against all odds to crack NEET 2020 Examination; Inspires upcoming aspirants to dream big

Mednipore Boy Abhijit Das is an aspirational story of a boy from rural India achieving his dreams overcoming and fighting against all odds. Belonging to a simple family based in a village named Ramchak in East Mednipore in West Bengal, Abhijit has made his district and Aakash Institute proud by setting a remarkable example before other students by cracking one of the toughest competitive examinations in India, NEET 2020. He secured AIR 940 in the General Category and AIR 608 in the UR Category.

Abhijit’s father, the sole bread earner in the family, is a farmer while his mother is a homemaker and helps his father with farming. He stayed at a rented accommodation at Garia in Kolkata and used to travel regularly in local trains to study at Aakash Institute at Park Circus. His story and journey to success weaves an exemplary tale of courage thus empowering aspirants to dream big. His dedication and self-belief has helped him sail through all the struggles and kept him determined towards the path of success. He is the first in his family to have ever cleared a medical examination and wishes to uplift the healthcare system of his native place.
