Autograph Collectors Club of India (Eastern Zone) organised an Exhibition on Rare and Historical Autographs on paper& different Memorabilia at Rotary Sadan,
The initiative was taken early this year to Exhibition in a grand scale in Kolkata with more then 100 Exhibitors participating but due to the ongoing circumstances the founder Santosh Kumar Lahoti and Eastern Zone Committee decided to exhibit 6 frames of rare autographs participated by Kolkata members.
“It is more than the signing of a person’s name : that is a signature. An autograph is anything that is written in a person’s own handwriting, also called holograph. Autograph includes entire letter, legal documents, musical scores, illuminated manuscripts as well as artist’s signature on a painting and other works of art.” said the organiser.
