St.Augustine Day School  in association with Global Reach organised an Education Mela for students aspiring to pursue higher education. The event provided the opportunity for students to have one-on-one interactions with the university representatives from overseas universities. They received accurate/ authentic information related to the types of study options available, specific colleges and universities, academic courses/ majors offered, cost and financial aid for international students, on-campus employment, internship opportunities, standard test (IELTS/ SAT/ PTE) requirements, student visa requirements, etc.

Richard Gasper, Principal, St.Augustine Day School said,”Such fairs like this  help providing correct information to students so that they don’t face any hurdles in their destination countries. Students will have the opportunity to lean about topics like admissions and scholarships, life on a university campus, and future career paths.”

The presentations made by the various university representatives have been quite comprehensive. Important topics like whether one needs a qualifying exam or needs some kind of support from the universaties have been addressed as well.
