Durgapur Steel Plant (DSP), a unit of SAIL, ended October ’21 month with excellent performance in different areas of production. APP targets were achieved in the production of Bloom Caster (101%), BRC (106%) & Merchant Mill (100%).
With this best month performance was achieved in the production of MSM at 40889 T with 4 sections, BRC and direct dispatch and best day performance in MSM on 31/10/21 in MB-300 section at 2124T.
Again best October performance was achieved in production of Merchant Mill & Finished Steel. Excelling in the areas of dispatch, Saleable Steel dispatch was at 179792T including best monthly direct dispatch of 122400T and Exports at 14500T.
Road dispatch was 28300T, while total Wheel dispatch was at 3639 including 92 wheels to non-railway agencies and Axle dispatch at 601 including 54 LHB axles.
On this joyous occasion, Shri A V Kamlakar, CEO, ISP with additional charge of CEO, DSP & ASP and other senior officials of DSP visited MSM & Merchant Mill on Monday, November 1, 2021 and congratulated the team DSP for excellent display of production performance in October 2021.
