Don Bosco’s ‘War Of The Bands’ A Unique Musical Contest Is Set To Gather School Students Past And Present

Don Bosco School brings War of the Bands, curated by Live Your Dreams, a creative platform dedicated to recognising musical talent. The event has the active involvement of Rev Father Bikash Mondal, Principal, Don Bosco Park Circus and well-known names of the music world, Dr. Palash Sen and Arko Pravo Mukherjee. The stage for the music extravaganza is set to come alive on 14thJanuary, 2024 at the Don Bosco School, Park Circus.

The event promises not simply entertainment but an incredible opportunity for young dreams to turn to reality. War of The Bands has been creatively designed to give both past and present students a musical platform with a difference. Top 5 teams from DPS Ruby Park, Gems Academia, Newtown School, Don Bosco Park Circus have been shortlisted as finalists through a rigorous process of selection. On 14th January, 2024, these teams will vie for the top spots.

“The overarching goal of this unique event is to create a positive impact on the lives of musically inclined youngsters. India, as a nation, is abundant in talent. One of the main motives of the event would be to uplift underprivileged individuals, particularly children. Doubtless, every child deserves a bright future, notwithstanding the challenges some of them face from an early age”, said Rev Father Bikash Mondal, Principal, Don Bosco Park Circus. War of The Bandswill support the aspirations of underprivileged and talented students by giving wings to their dreams. There will also be a fun fashion show with children across various socio-economic classes. An exciting element of the event is the grand prize in store for the winning band. Other than a cash prize, the winners will get the fabulous opportunity of their very own debut single to be composed and curated by none other than Bollywood’s popular singer, songwriter and music composer, Arko Pravo Mukherjee. Known for his hits that have delighted so many, Arko’s role in War of the Bands holds the promise of a life-changing experience for the winners. There are also interesting prizes for the first and second runners up.
