Docu which explores how spiritual Varanasi co-exists with digital Varanasi

International award-winning actor and filmmaker, Rajaditya Banerjee, known for his feature film Death Certificate, has added yet another feather in his cap.

 

Finland based Rajaditya, younger brother of the late, illustrious, filmmaker Bappaditya Bandopadhyay, has been successfully continuing the film making tradition of his family.

After his death trilogy features –

Death Certificate, ShivaRatri & ShobBahika – Rajaditya shot Death of Death in Varanasi in 2017. The film was launched at a press conference at Princeton Club, Kolkata on 3rd May 2017.

This documentary is a Indo-Finnish joint venture produced by GlobeSym Finland, BackBenchers Films and Rajaditya Banerjee  is a fascinating tale of the Dom King who gives Hindus, travelling to Varanasi, the Moksh fire to light the pyres of their loved ones and to liberate them from the cycle of birth, death and reincarnation.
