In 2013, he started at a small exhibition stall at Pydhoni. Afterwards he started photoshoot and catalogue for the brand. Then he launched his own website where he received large response from Instagram and tik tok influencers. In 2020 he started his own ethnic and elegant wedding wear and now he is coming up with DKD men and women boutique soon. “She Is Wearing Danish Khan Designs” has a mind-boggling collection of Indo-western outfits and has extended fusion of grace and elegance in all sincerity to its entire collection. What’s the philosophy behind your brand? What makes it unique?
Dream is just a dream unless executed with determination and sweat. Danish Khan Designs masters at the Designing aspect, all thanks to our creative founder. From hand drawn sketches to blend of colours to graceful embroidery to perfectly placed pockets, DKD carefully curates at all stops to make customers Discover that something special in each attire. The “3F” is what attracts our customer loyalty. Premium Fabric combined with a comfortable Fit giving the wearer an effortlessly elegant Feel is what makes our brand an exquisite one.
Were there a lot of glitches you had to face when you started out?
There weren’t really lot of glitches because I had enough capital to start. Also I was passionate about my work and confident too .
How have you evolved as a designer? Which collection are you most proud of?
I was creative since childhood. I used to love drawing and designing. I used to participate in inter school competition and i won many prizes as well. Then I started with clothing business of his father but something was missing in that collection and then i started with little change which was liked by many influencers.
During this COVID-19 crisis, what are the measures you have undertaken to continue your business without disruption?
In Boutique at Byculla we had initiated taking following precautions to ensure safety from Covid-19 disposable gloves shall be made available to customers to be able to choose items independently. Customers shall always wear a mask, as well as workers especially during customer interaction. Handwashing facilities and cleaning materials shall be made readily available for staff. What is that one advice you would like to give to all the entrepreneurs out there?
I wanna give advise to all entrepreneurs that make strong business plan, do trial and error of the business plan to make sure your plan is strong enough, use analysis to find out your strength, weaknesses, opportunity and threats and then be Confident. Because confidence is the key to success
