Resolution and Red Carpet Events have joined hands to organise first ever Housing T-10 Cricket Tournament in Kolkata. This will be first of its kind in Kolkata. To unveil this tournamnet the curtain raiser press conference was graced by Noted actor Rudranil Ghosh, former National Selector and Bengal skipper Sambaran Banerjee yesterdays cricketer Saradindu Mukherjee, Cricket administrator Biswarup Dey Housing T-10 Tournament 2020, will be played on 8th and 9th February. Total 12 housing complex teams will be shortlisted among 300 housing complex situated around the city. Each innings of the match will be 10 over and entire tournament will be conductedby skilled and experienced umpires empanalled by Cricket Association of Bengal. So this clash between the titans of different housing complexes of Kolkata will bring the scope for unity among the residents apart from organising Durga puja.
20 years back, one of the major point of interest was “para rivalryand the major competition was sports which included soccer and cricket. With the advent oftime the para became vertical rather than horizontal what it used to be earlier.And today each complex is like a para by themself.Trying to recreate that old energy and rivalry once again with,” Kumarjit Sengupta and Abhishek Mukherjee, organiser duo from Resolution and Red Carpet said respectively .
