Kolkata’s rising Kickboxing star teenager Samanyu Sureka who won 1 gold, 1 silver and 2 bronze medals at the recently held ( 15 – 19 October, 2025) ISKA AMA World Champioship at Brisbane, Australia. 1400 participants took part in this tournament from 42 countries. Out of 11 participants representing India Samanyu, our very own Kolkata boy has outshone others.
This tournament is sanctioned by International Sports Kickboxing Association (ISKA) – USA organised by ISKA Australia. Team coach and ISKA National Director Mr. Mrityunjoy Roy was present at the felicitation of Samanyu at Press Club on 4th November. Samanyu reads in class 10 and would very appearing for his board exams from Lamats Boys. He has trained for two months regularly for this Champioship for 2 hours everyday under the able guidance of his Coach. He plans to continue this Sport in future also.
