Celebration of Christmas Eve and Release of Commemorative Souvenir by Ramakrishna Mission, New Delhi
On the occasion of the 125th Anniversary of Ramakrishna Mission, were held today at the Vivekananda Auditorium. Shri Harivansh, Deputy Chairman, Rajya Sabha was the Chief Guest while Shri Bhupendra Kainthola, Principal Director General, Registrar of Newspapers handed over the first copy of the Souvenir to Shri Harivansh. Earlier Archbishop Couto, Rev Thomas Cheriyan, Vicar General, Mar Thoma Church, Dr. M. D. Thomas, Rabbi Malekar and Shri A. K. Merchant spoke on the Message of Christmas. Swami Sarvalokananda, Secretary, Ramakrishna Mission, New Delhi welcomed all those present while Sri Bhaskar Roy read selected passages from the Holy Bible.
