CARI organizes ‘Ayurveda Food Festival’
The 7th Ayurveda Day will be celebrated world-wide on October 23 under the theme “Har Din Har Ghar Ayurveda” meaning “Ayurveda Everyday Ayurveda Everywhere” which aims to disseminate the knowledge amongst the people about the importance of Ayurveda in leading a healthy life.
Ayurveda focuses more on the healthy living and wellbeing of the patient. For healthy living, Ayurveda emphasizes on consuming right kind of diet which is healthy and nutritious. According to Ayurveda, there are positive and negative attributes of diet. Since, Ayurveda deals with a holistic approach to healing, it covers the diet factor in depth.
A one day seminar entitled “Holistic Health Approach through Ayurveda Aahara” was organised by Central Ayurveda Research Institute (CARI), Kolkata on October 20, 2022. The seminar was part of the celebrations being held by CARI to mark 7th Ayurveda day on October 23rd, 2022, in collaboration with various ministries and departments of the Union Government. The theme of the 7th Ayurveda Day is “Ayurveda Everyday Ayurveda Everywhere” and focus of the activities is on Ayurveda Aahara (Dietetics).
CARI, Kolkata is celebrating Ayurveda Day from 12th September, 2022 with different activities like exhibition of common medicinal plants, free distribution of medicinal plants, conducting daily public lectures towards spreading awareness about Ayurveda, webinars, Ayush Food Festival, poster competitions, health camps, plantation of medicinal plants etc. The celebrations will continue till October 23, 2022.
